The Mental Health Association in Morgan County offers both Sexual Violence prevention & education programs and services for victims of sexual assault. For more assistance, please contact MHA at 256-353-1160.

Rape Response Advocacy

Trained volunteer advocates are available for victims of sexual assault. Support groups are available as requested.

 

Sexual Violence Prevention and Education

Sexual Violence Prevention & Education community programs are provided to organizations, groups and professionals.  Prevention and education programs are provided through the guidance and curriculum of The Alabama Department of Public Health, the Centers for Disease Control, and Alabama Coalition Against Sexual Violence.  In April REACT recognizes Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) by providing increased community programs and education throughout the month.  If you would like more information or are interested in scheduling an educator for your organization please contact us, [email protected] or 256-353-1160.
