about

Friendship House

Friendship House - A social club for people recovering from a serious mental illness.

Good Friends…
Good Food…
Good Fun…

Friendship House has been meeting since 1969, and friends meet twice a month for lunch and a variety of activities ranging from BINGO, craft projects, entertainment, and educational programs. Friendship House usually meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the MHA Office (207 Commerce Circle SW.). Get Directions.

Friendship House depends on volunteers and on financial and in-kind support from the community. It is important that people with mental illness feel accepted and a part of the community in which they live. Your support helps each meeting of Friendship House be a special occasion for friends, volunteers, and staff.
