Memory screenings will be offered following the program by professionals at The Terrace.
Alzheimer’s Foundation of America - National Memory Screening Day® 2013
National Memory Screening Day is a national initiative to promote early detection and intervention for those concerned about memory loss as well as to educate the public about successful aging. Screenings are free and confidential and will be offered after the Alzheimer’s Awareness Month program at The Terrace at Priceville on November 5 and after the Alzheimer’s Awareness Month program at Decatur Morgan Hospital on November 15. Area healthcare professionals will conduct the brief screening.
A memory screening is not used to diagnose any particular illness and does not replace consultation with a qualified physician or other healthcare professional.
